FEBS Travel Grants

A limited number of YTF travel grants is provided by FEBS. These grants cover part of the registration fee; additional funding has to be secured by the participants to cover the full expenses, including traveling to Jena.

If you are not yet a member of a FEBS Constituent Society, please note that you will need to become a member within  after admission to the course before you become elegible for an YTF Travel Grant.

We have applied for additional Travel Grants from other scientific organizations - updates, incl. criteria of elegibility will be posted here and as "News". So please re-visit our site to stay updated!

After we have made the decision on course admission at the end of October, we will contact the selected applicants if additional action is needed for obtaining specific travel grants.

DMykG Grants

The DMykG (Deutschsprachige Mykologische Gesellschaft - German Speaking Mycological Society) supports the course by sponsoring four grants (500 € each) to support four participants.

Sponsored participants have to be (become) a member of the society and will have to submit a joint short report on the course to the DMykG. We will propose candidates for these grants based on the information given in the application process.

Elsevier travel grant

Elsevier, the publisher of "Medical Mycology Case Reports" provides a travel grant of 500 € for one course participant.

JSMC travel grants

The JSMC (Jena School for Microbial Communication) kindly provides three travel grants (covering the actual travel costs) for participants.
